Shri Mann Panth Ratna, Vidya Bhushan
Sant Kirpal Singh Ji.
Aap Ji was born on 7th November 1915 AD, the auspicious day of Kattak’s Punyaan, at the home of Shri Mann Sardar Pratap Singh Ji and Shri Mati Mata Phool Kaur Ji (who later become Satnam Kaur after having amrit), in Shri Amritsar Ji, Gali Sato Wali. In his childhood, he received his education at Shri Kalgidhar School, Atta Mandi, then when the time came for his fortune to shine, one day Sant Amir Singh Ji & Shri Maan Baba Uttam Singh Ji came to their house to eat Prasad.
Sant Ji Maharaj asked for a Bhujangi from his param sevaks, to which shri Mann Sardar Pratap Singh Ji accepted with great devotion and love and devotion, and requested, “Maharaj! At present, two of the four Bhujangis of Das are standing by you, take the one among them whom you have a kind eye on, we will have good fortune.
Shri Maan Brahm Giani Sant Amir Singh Ji, after hearing this prayer full of devotion and love, spoke with a very happy mind, that the child whom we need is not among these children at the moment, so when Barkhurdar comes after studying, send him to the dera.
Hearing these words of the saints, although the parents were somewhat displeased, but in order to fulfill their promise of “ਇਕ ਸਾਧ ਬਚਨ ਅਟਲਾਧਾ॥”, they said, “ਸਤਿ ਬਚਨ” and requested that we ourselves take him to your feet.
So on the same day, when Shri Maan Sant Kirpal Singh Ji came after studying, the parents took this child with them and went to the feet of the saints and said,
“ਜਿਸ ਕੀ ਬਸਤੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਰਾਖੈ॥” (According to the scriptures, the child was prepared for the service of the saints.) (Page 268).
‘A great example of following the orders of his parents is that since Sant Kirpal Singh Ji came to the feet of the saints, he did not go back to his home even once for 27 years due to attachment, although his parents’ house is right in front of their dera and his mother is still present in the world. Despite the immense attachment of his parents, brothers and sisters, he did not miss a single moment of the service and place of the saints and continued to serve Gurudev Sant Amir Singh Ji and Dada Guru Mahant Baba Uttam Singh Ji for 27 years. After hearing the repeated words of Shri Mata Ji with devotion that “Once in my life, you must definitely step into my house”, exactly 28 years later, along with the congregation [when Das was also with him at that time], he set foot at his birthplace for the Bhog ceremony of the Path held by Mata Ji. This is an example of their sacrifice, which is unparalleled in itself.
At present, you are the tenth great holy soul of the sectarian Taksal run by Dasam-Pita Ji, and at present, on Sammat 2026, the great yagna of performing the eleventh Katha of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is being prepared. After the arrival of Shri Maan Mahant Uttam Singh Ji at Gurpuri, on 8 Magh 2017, on Friday, 20 January 1961, you have been entrusted with the duty of maintaining this Dera by all the Bhekhs and Samprads, which you are fulfilling with perfection in every way. After Shri Mann Sant Giani Amir Singh Ji went to Sachkhand, the turban of the service of continuing the Taksal run by this Dashmesh Pita Ji was given to Shri Mahant Haridashman Singh Ji by the saints and mahants of all sects like Nirmala, Udasi, Seva Panthi Addan Shahi, etc. on 17th Katak Samvat 2011, according to 2nd November 1954. And Siropau Singh Sahib, Head Granthi Ji, brought it from Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji with his kar-kaloms.
Now after Baba Uttam Singh Ji was seated at the feet of Guru, the mahantship of the Dera was also handed over to you, whose turban-bandi has been done by Shri Mann 108 Param Pujya Seva Panthi Bhekh Pradhan Sahib Sant Pandit Nischal Singh Ji Santpura Model Town Jamna Nagar [Jagadhari] Wale.

At the end, it is a sincere prayer that the respected Brahm Gyan, Shri Maan Sant Amir Singh Ji and Shri Maan Sant Utam Singh Ji or Shri Maan Param Kripalu Sant i.e. Kirpal Singh Ji, have written the biographies of the Gursikh Sangat according to their humble intellect. There may be many mistakes in this, because according to the great saying of – “ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਬੇਦ ਨ ਜਾਨਹਿ॥” [ਪੰਨਾ ੨੭੨]
we can know the lives and deeds of the saints only by the grace of a few souls. However, I have received some knowledge from the great man Shri Maan Sant i.e. Kirpal Singh Ji, but whatever has been written is beyond the scope of my intellect. Therefore, it is a sweet prayer to the listener that if any words of low respect are seen, please forgive them and make me grateful.
