When Sri Dasham Patshah Ji, having become free from wars and battles, opened his loins, then at Talwandi Sabo, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was composed based on his experience. There were 48 Sikh devotees who attained liberation from the body by listening to the story, but the Satguru had to establish a mint of the meanings of Gurbani for the future tradition. According to this wish, out of the 48 listeners, out of their immense grace, Sri Maan Bhai Mani Singh Ji and Sri Maan Baba Deep Singh Ji, who had attained liberation from the body, bestowed the blessing of never forgetting joy and entrusted Baba Deep Singh with the service of Sri Damdame Sahib Ji. Among their great service, this special service is famous that they wrote the four Birs of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji with their kar-kamals and installed them on the four Takht Sahibs, which became famous as the Damdami Bir. Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji's Bansawali

A Great Dera Mukhi.

Shri Maan 108 Mahant Baba Uttam Singh Ji.

Your holy birth took place in the house of father Sardar Gian Singh Ji and mother Sat Bharai in the sweet Tiwana (Sargodha district), on Bikrami Sammat 1907. When you were 4 years old, according to the divine prophecy, your body developed a disease, for which your parents tried very hard to get treatment, but your body did not recover and even the doctors and healers expressed despair. Finally, your parents thought that now the child has become very sick, there is no medicine, what effort should be made. Night and day were being spent in these worries.

After much time had passed in this way, one day they started saying to each other that the saints and great men are kind and merciful, let us take you to the great men (there live great men in sweet Tiwana. Whose holy name was Shriman 108 Mahant Hari Singh Ji).

Thinking thus, they brought the child to the great men. They came and placed the child at the feet of the saints, bowed down and requested, “Poor Niwaz Ji! This child is your gift, he has been afflicted with a physical disease. We have tried many treatments, the disease does not go away, please remove the suffering of this child with your grace, so that we may become happy.” At that time, the full meaning of the Surah and the words of the verse-
“Surbir Bachan Ke Bali || Kaula Bapuri Santi Chhali ||3 ||” (Page 392)
